Our “Premium wine tour with lunch” is one of the most comprehensive cellar visits you will find in the San Gimignano area, precisely because we like to spend time with our guests and explain the entire grape and wine production cycle.

We begin with a tour of the vineyards and the wine cellar, where the varieties cultivated on the estate are introduced and the winemaking and ageing techniques explained.

This is followed by a typical lunch featuring local products in the hotel’s elegant dining room or on the panoramic terrace. We start with “pappa al pomodoro” (tomato and bread soup) and continue with a selection of local products such as Tuscan charcuterie, Pecorino Senese cheese paired with chutney, and bruschetta to taste our extra virgin olive oil. The tasting begins with lunch and includes our five wines, including the most important white wine produced in Tuscany the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, a Chianti Riserva and a Supertuscan. The price is 50 euro a head.  The total duration is about two and a half hours, starting at 12 noon.
