Tenuta Guardastelle San Gimignano

Tuscan experiences for every taste and desire

Despite several collaborations with tour operators for large groups, we have always believed in the philosophy of the slow tourist who knows how to take the time to better understand the place they are visiting, with its history and culture. With this in mind, since 2015 various experiences have been taking shape at the estate, and not just for those who are staying with us.

We strongly advise you to book in advance if you don’t want to miss the opportunity to learn more about wine in an exclusive location.

Winery Tours

One of the most comprehensive cellar tours you will find in the San Gimignano area. We like to spend time with our guests and explain the entire grape and wine production cycle!

Cooking Classes

Bring home the genuine flavour of Tuscany. Join us in preparing traditional family recipes, share our passion for cooking and the value of conviviality over a good meal.

Pic Nic

If you are looking for peace, privacy and contact with nature instead of the usual wine tasting, why not enjoy all this with one of our picnic baskets?

We can provide you with a blanket, glasses, some excellent wine produced on the estate and something to eat while you relax in the shade of our olive trees.

We couldn't call ourselves Guardastelle (which means “watching the stars”) without offering guests the chance to stand gazing up at the sky. An evening for those who wish to learn more about the stars or who simply want to enjoy the view by night.

Please contact us for more detailed information.

Many more experiences are available around the estate, all of which should be booked in advance

E-Bike Rental

The Chianti and San Gimignano hills are uniquely beautiful and there is nothing better than exploring them on two wheels. We can help you book your e-bikes, which will be delivered directly to the estate.
Vespa Tour

Vespa Tour

If you have never tried riding a scooter, there is no better place to start than Tuscany. No other landscape will enchant you more, with its rolling hills and gentle curves. There aren't many Vespa rental companies in this area but we have found some really professional ones.

Gently rolling landscapes as far as the eye can see, good food and excellent wine await you at Guardastelle and, if I were you, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to relax with a massage or a thermal bath. We can recommend some excellent spas within a few minutes' drive of the estate and, if you want to try something unique, we know of some wonderful open-air thermal baths too. Near the estate
Visita al Caseificio

Visit to a Cheese Maker

One of the typical products of the province of Siena is pecorino cheese in all its forms: mild, mature, cave-matured and flavoured. A visit to a cheese producer is something very interesting, especially if you want to understand more about the area.

Horse Riding

The area around San Gimignano is studded with vineyards, olive groves and sometimes even cereal crops. For lovers of nature and animals, a horseback ride is as relaxing as it gets.
Visita San Gimignano

Tour of S.Gimignano

A village rich in history, secrets, anecdotes and stunning views. A guided tour, whether purely historical in the centre of the village or a walk with an environmental guide along the paths and in the woods around San Gimignano, will definitely enrich your experience at the Guardastelle estate.
