Maria Assunta

Bianco Toscano

We first produced this new white wine made from our local white grape varietal in 2021. Definitely a striking wine, the new favourite of many guests who return to the estate and discover this pleasant surprise. Part of the wine ages for nine months before being added back to the younger, fresher part. “Maria Assunta” is the mother of Susanna (owner and manager of the cellar) and this wine reflects all her qualities: pleasant, structured and more complex than Consesta, it improves with time and is definitely a wine to be shared. Our sincere thanks go to all those guests who have encouraged us over the years to implement this new project.

Tasting notes

The ageing conveys a beautiful golden colour and captivating notes of ripe fruit and nuts.

Pairings

Excellent with medium-mature cheeses and fish, it reaches its finest expression with white meats and salmon.
